Amy Brittain, an investigative reporter for The Washington Post, teamed up with reporter Irin Carmon to break the news of sexual harassment by television host Charlie Rose. In 2017, Brittain and Carmon were awarded the Mirror Award from Syracuse University for reporting on sexual misconduct in the media and were named finalists for the Livingston Award for Young Journalists. In 2016, Brittain was part of a team of Post reporters awarded the Pulitzer Prize for chronicling fatal shootings by police officers across the country. Before joining The Post, she was the winner of the George Polk Award for exposing rampant use of anabolic steroids by police officers in New Jersey.
