Census Population Projections show adults 65 and older will outnumber children under 18 for the first time in U.S. history by the year 2035. With America’s rapidly changing demographics, it is increasingly important to understand what an aging population means for individuals, communities and the nation. This workshop will dive into the issues affecting this growing and influential group with insights and data on how communities are preparing for older adults, the growing responsibilities of family caregivers and the current state of long-term care, and the future of work and retirement.
