How to Advocate For Your Community at Work

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

We hear from people who have made meaningful change within their newsrooms by starting diversity committees, employee resource groups and unions. In this session, attendees will view examples of what has worked in other newsrooms as well as learn from others’ mistakes. The panel will also address techniques to manage the inevitable awkwardness, frustration and burnout that comes with this work.
