Freelancing is becoming more common and it requires navigation around areas outside of the industry. This panel will help navigate these areas from accounting and insurance, to marketing and understanding the types of skills editors look for in a freelancer. There are pros and cons to being on your own. Whether this position is a choice or due to economic circumstances, the panelists will give tips on creating a positive experience.
